Founded by Tarn and Jess, two besties from way back in high school who came to realise in our 30’s that our values and visions in sustainable lifestyles and ethical practices had not only evolved but also aligned! How we didn’t realise earlier was probably because we were young and still exploring in this crazy world!

 

So… over a glass of bubbles, (well actually many!) and copious amounts of olives and cheese, we decided to make a true impact and developed a business model which gave solutions to the issues; The Exchange Co. was born!

 

Since establishment in 2019 the Fashion Exchange Events have evolved to become iconic circular fashion events in Perth and the community following has grown with long lasting friendships formed at the events!

Tarn is now the sole owner of the business with Jess the biggest advocate and sidekick, often with her two boys in tow!

 

Tarn is ready for a future where the fashion world we currently live in is less consumerist and more transparent. She believes we should be sharing what we already have, rather than wasting our money and adding to landfill. 

With a background in Community Development, Tarn landed on a business in which society could still love fashion and the beauty it delivers but also improve the ethics and quality of fashion and wardrobes around the world. 

If you're feeling the fashion fails and body change frustrations, we have been there too!  With little ones in tow we know the wardrobe struggle and juggle is real with a mix of mum, corporate, leisure and party outfits needed on any given day. But we are here to develop a community for you to be a part of and one where one's once loved wardrobe, is another one’s new lease on life!
